Along the coast, by the shore and around water I find many of the birds I like to photograph. Gulls, terns, ducks, geese, swans and other species that have water as an important part of their lives, constantly provide new motifs.

Sometimes it's the great birdlife that captures the attention, other times it's a simple moment – a bird in flight, a flock coming in from the sea or a calm morning by the water. Here I collect some of these encounters.
